A few years ago, while sitting on an airplane for my twentieth trip of the year, flying from one coast to another, I found myself exhausted, struggling and frustrated. Late at night, trying to get home, sitting between two other passengers, I grabbed a note pad and started to write down truths I wish I would have known before entering what was at the time, the most desperate season of my life.
